The Associação Pró-Dança, in charge of the management of the São Paulo Companhia de Dança, announces that from this date on, Mrs. Inês Bogéa assumes the exclusive responsibility for the Artistic Direction of the Company. In the past four years, the artistic collaboration with Mrs. Iracity Cardoso, who is leaving the Company, was essential for the implementation and consolidation of the audacious cultural project that São Paulo Companhia de Dança has been representing in the Brazilian artistic scenery.

As one of the founders of the Company, Mrs. Cardoso contributed directly and significantly to the success of all our projects. We are sure that she will continue to play an important role in Brazilian Dance, as has been the mark of her work over several decades.

On the other hand, the permanence of Mrs. Bogéa ahead of our project ensures us the continuity of the Company´s excellence, that has been nationally and internationally recognized. The São Paulo Companhia de Dança have planned for this season about 60 presentations, a new program in August, four new documentaries "Figuras da Dança" and the continuity of educational activities. We would like to thank everyone for the presence and support.
